Amputee AFCON: Nigeria Defeats Sierra Leone to Seal Semi Final Spot

Nigeria Amputee Football team, Special Eagles have qualified for the semifinal of the ongoing Amputee African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Angola after defeating Sierra Leone 1-0 on Monday, October 7, 2019. After 1-0 and 2-1 victory over Liberia and Cameroon respectively, Nigeria were held to a 0-0 draw by Tanzania before beating Sierra Leone 1-0.

Kelvin Kingsley scored the only goal of the game for Nigeria. Special Eagles now have 10 points from 4 games and will play host and world champions, Angola in their next match on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
